 Every Wednesday the children have been having hockey skills with Kylie! 
  • Their focus for this writing was starting their sentences with adjectives and strong verbs. 
Keep an eye out next week and we'll have some photos too for you to see!

Excitedly I ran down the field and jumped up and down. Pushing through the gate I ran to the white line! Smashing the ball to my buddy made me feel great!

Feeling great I went to the hockey field. Pushing the gate I stood and raced to the field. I stood on the line!

Feeling hot I ran happily to the hockey field. Pushing the gate open I felt very nervous!

Nervously I walked down to the hockey field, I peered through the hockey fence. Pushing through the gate I rushed to the white line and I waited for a hockey stick.Smashing the ball through the hockey net I got it to the hockey fence. I won! I was so proud of myself!

Happily I ran to the fence of the hockey field. Pushing through the gate I sprinted towards the hockey stuff and stood on the white line.
Smashing the ball I sprinted down the court and hit the ball and I scored a goal! I felt proud!

Happily I ran to the hockey field and saw room 6 and 5 playing hockey. Pushing through the gate I sprinted to the hockey field.
Dribbling the ball to my buddy and smashing the ball to my partner was a bit of fun! I felt proud!

Happily I raced to the hockey field and peered through the fence and saw the room six and five kids. Pushing the gate open I ran to my coach and we learned how to tackle and we got a goal. Tackling the ball I got it off the boys!!! I got a goal!!!

Racing to my hockey ball I started a new hockey game called steal the ball, it was fun. I was proud of myself.

Hot and sweaty I ran quickly down the grass and waited patiently for room 5 and 6 to finish. Pushing through the gate I ran to the hockey teacher. She was really nice. Chasing my ball as it rolled quickly down the court was fun. I felt very proud of myself.

Nervously I raced over to the hockey fields and on the way wondered what would we do? Pushing my way through the gate I raced over to the white line and waited! Roaring through passing everyone I got to the net. I felt sweaty!
